US embassy warns of imminent terrorist attack in Mombasa, Kenya
US personnel were advised to leave the city. A Kenyan official reported two suspected Iranian terrorists were arrested this week and one led counter-terrorism officers to Mombasa to recover 15 kilos of a powdery substance believed to be explosive material. Al Shabaab insurgents have threatened Kenya with attacks for sending its troops to Somalia.
